Heat Exchanger Analytics and its economic impact

Our paper on 'Heat Exchanger Fouling Analytics' has been published in the Q3 Issue 2020 of the Petroleum Technology Quarterly magazine. Please spare some time to go through it especially if you're a Chemical/Process Engineer to get an insight into how much money could be saved just by cleaning one heat exchanger in a petroleum refinery. Savings are not only due to energy but also due to potentially increased production.

The methodology involves rigorous equation-based heat and material balance reconciliation of the process unit - a crude distillation unit for example, followed by predictions of economic impact of heat exchanger cleaning on the overall process.

Digital Twins in Process Industry - their ease of use?

As we work through building and supporting digital twins with our clients, the complexity has become clear. But before we make the point of the complexity, let us understand the purpose and the meanin

My thoughts on Industrial Revolution 4.0 ...

We hear about AI, ML, Digital Twin, Big Data, Cloud, and similar terms used under Industry 4.0, My view is that many of these technologies are not new to the chemical process industry, but rather the
