Refinery Configuration Assessment
We can support companies with assessment of various refinery and petrochemical configurations upgrades to existing refineries. It could be an evaluation of integration with a steam cracker or a new aromatics unit or it could be a bottom of the barrel upgrade.
Such assessments typically involve a yield based material balance assessment of new process units as well as modifications to existing process units via a LP model. Further estimation of capital expense and lifycycle cost of the new and modified process units via a techno-economic model is generally required.
